This is a big week in the world of golf.
The PGA Championship has begun play at Aronimink and someone’s legacy is going to forever change on Sunday evening. That is the power of golf, that it hast he ability to transform people in a number of different ways. It is a great bridge to things in that sense.
Golf is also a great bridge from human beings to one another. This is something that Ken Griffey Jr. and Michael Collins have shown through ‘Caddie & The Kid’ which is officially back for another season.
Following a successful debut season, BARK BARK and Hartbeat announced the return of State Farm® as presenting sponsor for two new episodes of “Caddie & The Kid,” the premium golf and travel series on YouTube starring MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. and ESPN golf analyst Michael Collins.
Building on the momentum of Season 1, the new slate of episodes expands the series’ signature blend of golf, culture, and celebrity-driven storytelling around some of the biggest moments in sports this year.
The upcoming season will tee off with an episode releasing around golf’s second major of the year, the PGA Championship, and was filmed at Streamsong Resort in Florida. Griffey Jr. and Collins are joined by an all-star lineup of athletes and creators, including NFL standouts Aidan Hutchinson, Travis Hunter, and Emeka Egbuka, alongside former LPGA Tour professional Mel Reid and leading YouTube golf creator Grant Horvat.
Later this summer, “Caddie & The Kid” heads to Seattle for a special episode tied to the global excitement of the World Cup. Griffey Jr. and Collins dive into the city’s rich soccer culture with the Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC, before hitting the course at iconic venues including Chambers Bay Golf Course, where they are joined by U.S. soccer legend Landon Donovan, and Sahalee Country Club, culminating in a 3v3 showdown featuring Women’s World Cup champion Carli Lloyd, Super Bowl-winning kicker Jason Myers, and popular YouTube duo The Bryan Bros (George and Wesley Bryan).
“We’re getting fans and brands even closer to big athletes around huge tentpole moments on YouTube like the World Cup,” said Series Showrunner and Head of Creative at BARK BARK, Daniel Sattelmeyer. “Anything can happen on the golf course – the competition stays high, but the casual setting means they can be themselves and tell stories no one’s heard about these milestone events. That’s where the magic happens.”
Fan-favorite Jake from State Farm once again steps onto the green this season to trade banter and read the fairways alongside Griffey Jr. and Collins. Jake’s seamless integration throughout the program, inclusive of custom content and memorable on-course moments, is a leading example of how State Farm continues to cement its place in modern entertainment with culturally relevant sports storytelling and creator-driven platforms.
“Season one of Caddie & The Kid proved that sports and entertainment are blending faster than ever,” said Alyson Griffin, Head of Marketing at State Farm. “We’re seeing that the most impactful brand moments happen when you’re part of the experience itself, not just appearing as a logo. Bringing Jake from State Farm onto the course for season two allows us to show up alongside these athletes in a way that’s fun, engaging, and true to our Good Neighbor spirit.”
Don’t miss Season Two of “Caddie & The Kid,” presented by State Farm, premiering May 14, 2026 on LOL Network YouTube channel and look out for more episodes dropping later this year. Subscribe and get ready to hit the fairways with the ultimate dream team!
This is a great kickstart to the summer, particuarly with the World Cup tie-in by way of Seattle. The cast joining The Kid and Collins is pretty loaded, and they are partaking in things off of the course as well.
Consider Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback (and wide receiver) Travis Hunter. He is set to be seen bass fishing with the duo. You can see a preview of it below.
Looks like fun!
